The Yamaha RMX DD Fairway Wood is an upgraded club engineered to deliver easy, explosive distance. It uses an incredibly thin face paired with internal weighting to generate high launch and maximum ball speed.

This fairway wood sees a significant boost in performance thanks to its thin face design—it’s less than 2 mm thick! By utilizing high-strength C300 Maraging Steel and a precision thin-wall structure, the club’s rebound performance has increased by 10% compared to the previous model. This means better energy transfer across the whole face, translating directly into longer distance.
Enhanced Forgiveness and Stability
The DD Fairway Wood is designed for excellent stability. Yamaha dramatically increased the club’s forgiveness by optimizing the center of gravity (CG) placement and incorporating a large amount of internal weighting. This design boosts the club’s horizontal Moment of Inertia (MOI) by 30%. A higher MOI means the club resists twisting better on off-center hits, ensuring a more stable trajectory and greater consistency across the face.

Forget worrying about rainy conditions affecting your shots. The DD Fairway Wood features new scorelines and a subtle texture on the face. This combination is designed to improve water drainage. The result is stable spin and maintained distance and direction, allowing for reliable performance regardless of the weather.
