ABOUT US

ABOUT US

Pin High India Pvt Ltd was founded in August 2010 with a clear and urgent mission: to fill a glaring gap in Indian golf. At the time, there was no world-class custom club fitting centre in the country — none that was backed by a comprehensive inventory of premium equipment, shafts, and grips.

We set out to change that.

Driver

Best For:

Long-distance tee shots

Skill Level:

Intermediate to Advanced

yamaha-driver

Key Characteristics:

  • The driver is the longest club in your bag, with the biggest head.
  • It’s designed to hit the golf ball as far as possible, usually from the tee box.
  • Because of its length and low loft, it’s more challenging to control, especially for beginners.
  • It’s mainly used at the start of long holes, where covering maximum distance is essential.

Start practicing with the driver only after you’ve built confidence with shorter clubs. Focus on your stance and swing speed.

Woods

Best For:

Long shots from the fairway or off the tee

Skill Level:

Intermediate to Advanced

fairway-wood-yamaha

Key Characteristics:

  • Fairway woods have slightly shorter shafts and higher lofts than drivers.
  • They are more forgiving and easier to control.
  • These clubs are great when you need distance, but still want some accuracy.
  • Often used on the fairway or even for long tee shots on shorter holes.

A 3-wood or 5-wood is a great alternative if your driver is inconsistent.

Hybrids

Best For:

Replacing difficult long irons, versatile shots

Skill Level:

Beginner to Advanced

Ping-Hybrid

Key Characteristics:

  • Hybrids combine the best of woods and irons, making them easier to hit.
  • They’re shorter than woods but longer than irons.
  • They’re perfect for long-distance shots from rough or fairway and often replace 3- or 4-irons.
  • Excellent for beginners who struggle with long irons.

Try using a hybrid from different lies to build trust in this versatile club.

Irons

Best For:

Precision shots into the green

Skill Level:

All levels

Fourteen PC-3 IRON

Key Characteristics:

  • Irons are numbered (typically 3 to 9) based on loft and distance.
  • Lower-numbered irons (3-5) are for longer shots, while higher-numbered irons (7-9) are for shorter, more accurate shots.
  • Irons are used from the fairway, rough, or even off the tee on par-3 holes.
  • Provide more control and backspin for approaches to the green.

Start practicing with mid-irons (like the 7-iron) to build consistency and ball striking.

Wedge

Best For:

Close-range, high-lofted shots

Skill Level:

All levels

Fourteen-Wedge

Key Characteristics:

  • Wedges have the highest lofts and are great for short-distance precision.
  • Types include: Pitching Wedge (PW), Sand Wedge (SW), Gap Wedge (GW), and Lob Wedge (LW).
  • Used for chipping around the green, bunker shots, and tight approach shots.

Learn to use your pitching and sand wedge for different lies and distances near the green.

PUTTER

Best For:

Finishing the hole on the green

Skill Level:

All levels

EVNROLL ER5 CENTRE SHAFT 34" MALLET PUTTER

Key Characteristics:

  • The most-used club in your bag—accounting for nearly half your strokes in a round.
  • Designed to roll the ball smoothly across the green toward the hole.
  • Accuracy and touch are more important than power.

Practice putting regularly. Consistent short putts are key to improving your score.

WOODs

Best For:

Players looking for optimized swing speed, distance, and stability in fairway woods

Skill Level:

Intermediate to Advanced

wood-shaft

Key Characteristics:

  • Wood shafts are typically longer and lighter than iron shafts, built to maximize distance.
  • Available in graphite for more flex and speed, or steel for more control and durability.
  • The flex (Regular, Stiff, Extra Stiff) impacts launch, spin, and shot shape.
  • A properly fitted shaft can greatly improve consistency and shot accuracy.

Choosing the right shaft flex and weight is crucial—match it to your swing speed for best results.

Hybrids

Best For:

Golfers seeking a balance of distance & control, especially from the rough lies.

Skill Level:

Beginner to Advanced

hybrid-shaft

Key Characteristics:

  • Designed to blend features of wood shafts (distance) and iron shafts (control).
  • Typically shorter than wood shafts, making them easier to handle and more accurate.
  • Graphite shafts dominate hybrids, offering lightweight speed and forgiveness.
  • Ideal for replacing long irons, which are harder to hit consistently.

A hybrid shaft helps bridge the gap between your fairway woods and irons, making long approach shots easier.

Irons

Best For:

Consistent mid-to-short range shots with better accuracy and control.

Skill Level:

Beginner to Advanced

shaft-irons

Key Characteristics:

  • Shorter and heavier than wood shafts, designed for precision over distance.
  • Available in steel (control, durability) or graphite (lightweight, more distance).
  • Shaft flex plays a big role in ball flight and consistency.
  • Heavier shafts suit stronger swings, while lighter shafts help generate more speed.

The right iron shaft can fine-tune your accuracy and feel—choose steel for control or graphite for easier swing speed.

Wedges

Best For:

Close-range, high-lofted shots

Skill Level:

All levels

wedge-shaft

Key Characteristics:

  • Wedges have the highest lofts and are great for short-distance precision.
  • Types include: Pitching Wedge (PW), Sand Wedge (SW), Gap Wedge (GW), and Lob Wedge (LW).
  • Used for chipping around the green, bunker shots, and tight approach shots.

Learn to use your pitching and sand wedge for different lies and distances near the green.

Putter

Best For:

Improving stability, comfort, and feel during putts.

Skill Level:

All Levels

putter-grips

 Key Characteristics:

  • Thicker grips help reduce wrist movement for a smoother stroke.
  • Slimmer grips provide more feel and feedback in the hands.
  • Available in different textures and materials for better comfort and traction.
  • Grip size and weight can influence stroke consistency and confidence on the greens.

Upgrading your putter grip is one of the easiest ways to improve control and lower your scores on the green.

Swing

Best For:

Ensuring a secure hold and consistent control throughout full swings.

Skill Level:

All Levels

GOLF PRIDE MULTI-COMPOUND ROUND GRIPS

Key Characteristics:

  • Provide traction and comfort, reducing slippage during powerful swings.
  • Available in various sizes (standard, midsize, oversized) to fit different hand sizes.
  • Rubber, cord, and hybrid materials offer different feels and levels of feedback.
  • Fresh grips improve consistency, as worn grips can cause grip pressure issues.

The right swing grip improves comfort, control, and confidence—small change, big impact on your game.

Simulators

Best For:

Practicing year-round, analyzing swing data, and enjoying virtual rounds indoors.

Skill Level:

Beginner to Professional

Key Characteristics:

  • Use sensors, cameras, or radar to track swing speed, ball flight, and shot accuracy.
  • Offer immersive virtual courses, practice ranges, and skill challenges.
  • Great for home practice, coaching, or entertainment setups.
  • Provide detailed feedback to help golfers fine-tune mechanics and consistency.
